Minneapolis, Minnesota: The
city agreed to settle a lawsuit involving the police shooting of two dogs for
$225,000. SWAT members executed a search warrant on a home, looking for a
weapon. They shot the homeowner’s two dogs. The lawsuit says that the
3-year-old daughter was sitting feet away from the dogs when they were shot.
