A New Orleans Police cop shot a dog in the leg around 5:30
a.m. in a fenced and locked backyard in the 1300 block of Arts Street. Police say the cop began shooting when the dog walked towards him while he was investigating a suspicious persons complaint. There
were no witnesses.
